Crafts Council
Hothouse
Hothouse provides some of the
nation’s best up-and-coming makers
with a six-month programme of
business and creative support.For
2014/15 the Crafts Council selected
38 makers for the scheme that was
delivered in four different parts
of England:SouthWest,North,South
East and Midlands. For the first
time this year we also delivered
a programme in Scotland.
Nadia-Anne Ricketts
Since Hothouse Nadia-Anne
has been awarded funding from
The Boost Fund,CreativeWorks
for research and development,
has exhibited with the British
European Design Group and the
International Contemporary
Furniture Fair 2015 in NewYork.
She will show at Design Days
Dubai 2016.
Rita Parniczky
Rita has taken part in Ornament at
the Great Northern Contemporary
Craft Fair,exhibited in the curated
feature Future Heritage at Decorex
2015,and been awarded the
Peter Collingwood Trust Award
for innovative technique.Her work
is held in the collection at the
V&A and she will show at Design
Days Dubai 2016.
