Kimono revivals, Tatty Devine and spooning (no not that kind)

What happened 

Wallpaper* reviewed our jewellery show I AM HERE at the Hospital Club and we chatted to featured makers Tatty Devine.

Book artists Simon and Ira went against all advice to open London Centre for Books and they’re now extending.

Tangibles featuring Directory maker Paul Wearing opened at Contemporary Ceramics Centre in London

The BBC’s craft show Make! Craft Britain is returning and they’re looking for people eager to learn new skills from leading makers.

The world kimono project is hoping to create a kimono for each represented nation at the 2020 Olympics to help revive the dying craft.  

Our Crafts Council Directory Maker of the Week is Kate Haywood currently in Hothouse 2017: Spot the Talent at New Ashgate Gallery. We talk to Kate.
