CCHQ Weekly Round-up, 14 July 2017

De-stressing with ceramics, innovative jewellery and the relationship between play and making

What happened
Quart Minvant by Claudi Casanovas at Fitzrovia Chapel and Paola Paronetto: Paper & Clay at Ceramics Centre both opened.  
Andrew Logan talked to i-d about his new Art of Reflection exhibition at Buckland Abbey.
W Magazine filmed Laura Harrier on the potter’s wheel after she took up ceramics to de-stress from her Spider-Man role.

A Curious Turn opened at Gallery Oldham. Quirky and playful automata from craft's biggest names.
After fitting seven ceramic vessels with tracking devices Adam Buick cast them into the sea with lovely results.
