What happened

A brilliant line-up announced for the first Createch event on 13 June featuring BBC, Facebook and our Creative Director Annie Warburton.

The V&A unveiled their new shop inspired by craftsmanship.

The Young Masters Maylis Grand Ceramics Prize 2017 shortlist was announced and includes Directory maker Tessa Eastman.

Tatty Devine have launched a new range with Battersea Dogs and Cats Home . Hitting all the right buttons for us.

Craft Central announced they’re moving to the Isle of Dogs to former shipbuilding site The Forge . Forging ahead indeed.

Our Directory Maker of the Week is Martin Pearce currently showing in MIAR Ceramics Arts. We talk to Martin here

What was said

What was made

An entirely handmade façade for a seven storey building on Savile Row made up of 10,000 crystalline hand-glazed ceramic tiles by Kate Malone.

Clerkenwell Design Week - in particular this Design in Education talk and The Serendipity Studio at The Goldsmiths’ Centre.
