European Artistic Craft Days

Showcasing European craft and inspiring future makers

Organised by the French National Institute for Arts and Crafts, European Artistic Craft Days are a chance for people to see skilled craft makers in action and perhaps even have a go themselves.

Taking place across Europe on the first weekend in April – visitors can discover more about craft through open-door days at studios and training events or through special events and themed tours.

European Artistic Craft Days have been running for over a decade in France and now they are expanding with 18 countries taking part. The theme for this year is “Let’s Shape the Future” in order to show how craft can improve the future of our societies through entrepreneurship, creativity, collaborative working.

For the first year a number of UK organisations will take part and host special events on the 2 April.
