Harry Morgan is an emerging artist and designer based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

His work has been exhibited widely throughout the UK and internationally, including shows in the Czech Republic, Sweden, Denmark, Australia and the USA.

Born in Manchester (1990), Morgan gained a first class BA Hons degree in Glass from The University of Edinburgh in 2014. During his undergraduate, he took part in an international exchange programme and spent six months studying at the Australian National University, Canberra. After graduating, he became a resident at Edinburgh’s Process Studios.

In 2015, he exhibited at the British Glass Biennale, where he received the ‘Award for Emerging Talent’ from London Glassblowing. Later that year, he worked on Matt Durran’s sustainable design project, producing work with master craftsmen at The Glass Factory in Boda, Sweden. In 2016, Morgan was selected for a residency at Northlands Creative Glass, in which he had four weeks of research to develop new lines of enquiry within his work. Recently, he received an ‘Inches Carr Graduate Craft Award’ at the 2016 Scottish Craft Awards and represented the UK at the European Glass Context in Bornholm, Denmark.

Alongside his own practice, he currently works as a casting technician for Gray Concrete, working on bespoke design and fabrication projects.
