Molly Price

Molly is a designer and researcher with a background in architecture and site-specific interactive art. She has developed a specialism in smart textiles through academic research and industry collaboration, with a particular interest in the application of textile materials within the arts and architecture.

Molly is UK-based associate partner at Diffus Design. Diffus' approach combines traditional know-how and production processes with uncharted ‘soft’ technologies, smart materials and new production processes. She is currently working with Diffus on their EU collaborative research project, Creatif.

The Creatif project will create software design tools and a digital printer in order to facilitate e-ink printing onto textiles for the cultural and creative industries. The software tools will allow the user to design, layout, visualise and simulate smart fabrics and to print textiles with interactive capabilities such as reactive electroluminescence, colour change or sensing for use within their own projects.

Molly has previously worked as a design researcher at the Wearable Futures Design Group at the University of South Wales and as project designer at Jason Bruges Studio in London.Molly is a designer and researcher with a background in architecture and site-specific interactive art.
