My work
Complex hand painted and printed textiles using silk are made into scarves, panels, ties and cushions. Layers of colour and texture are built up, then sections are discharged and sewn using net, ribbon and transparent fabrics. Beadwork is additional. These fabrics have a distressed appearance but have a rich quality.
