My work

My work is entirely hand painted and finished on a range of pure silks and velvet. Many techniques are used: direct painting, spraying, gutta resist and salt. Recent work shows a variety of subjects: music, animals, shells, fish, leaves, flowers, butterflies, ancient Egyptians, Roman and Greek, geometrics and colour abstracts.
