My work

Thin slabs of pure porcelain and paper clay are used (100% cotton fibres) with modelled (porcelain) additions. Surfaces are textured by the application of white and stained slips, refined using surgical scalpels and a variety of steel blades, then burnished with silver spoons before firing. Items are once fired, then polished and mounted.
