My work
My work is mostly wheel-thrown / press-moulded combinations. I use grogged stoneware clay for its durability and ability to produce textural finishes, which contrast the dry vivid barium glazes that I use. I produce individual one-off elevated stemmed vessels, bird baths and sconces. Reference is drawn from period garden ornamentation. As well as making her own work, Lesley also provides private tuition for adults from her studio.
