My work

Elegant ceramics that marry fluid form with distinctive surface pattern. Working across a range of sizes and items, each piece is conceived and designed to stand alone or as part of a set. Making techniques range from throwing, press moulding, casting and jigger jollying according to the item being made. The decoration is applied in the raw state allowing a delicate balance between control and freedom in the final ceramic. Decorative finishes are achieved through a combination of slip-overlay techniques in conjunction with translucent earthenware glazes making each piece unique.
