My work

I make figurative mechanical sculptures using carved and painted wood, old tins and found objects. These typically depict strange scenes and eccentric characters which mechanically illuminate fragments of a dreamlike, sometimes menacing narrative. I produce one-off pieces, limited editions and commissions for sale, exhibitions and public spaces.
