My work

Laura Baxter makes silver and gold jewellery, silverware and large scale metalwork inspired by botanical forms. The intention of the work is to create wearable elements of nature. Work is hand constructed using shaping, die-pressing, piercing, raising and forging techniques. Surface texture and finishes are applied using roll-printing, punches and oxidising. Pieces are made to commission, as one-offs or as batch production ranges.
