Applications are invited from artists working in: DESIGN – ceramic design for manufacture; CRAFT – studio production; ART – one-off ceramics, ideas and installations.
The British Ceramics Biennial (BCB) has initiated and run a programme of events and activities that focus on a showcase Biennial Festival of international standing in October/November 2013. The centrepiece of the festival programme is the BCB ceramic AWARD exhibition – a prestigious exhibition that celebrates the energy and potential of contemporary British ceramics, in the context of its long history in Stoke-on-Trent. Ceramicists, artists and designers are invited to apply to be part of this exhibition, which will again be presented at the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery. A single prize of £10,000 is on offer.
