Banks' Mill Studios was set up to retain Graduate level skills in the creative industries in the Derby Area, by providing easy-in / easy-out workspace in studios, with a view to helping graduates earn a living off those skills, either as a sole trader or as a business. Banks' Mill is operated by Asist Derbyshire, which has a mission to encourage active support for emerging businesses. As well as providing workspace, Asist facilities business support activity including one-to-one advice and master classes. Asist operates a similar 'incubator for graduates' in the e-commerce section at Network House in Derby. Open studio events.
