The V&A is the greatest museum of art and design, a world treasure house with collections of fabulous scope and diversity. The Museum holds over 3,000 years worth of artefacts from many of the world's richest cultures. It offers a range of dynamic programmes and resources to school students and teachers as well as FE and HE students and lecturers. The Museum Residency Programme gives designers, artists, writers, makers, musicians etc, the extraordinary opportunity to have a studio in the Sackler Centre for six months. The Sackler Centre for arts education at the V&A is the Museum's centre for public learning through creative design and one of its most innovative spaces
