Known for her recurring use of animal forms, Ford uses this opportunity to populate the various spaces of Roche Court with her curious and compelling characters. In the gallery, and also outside in the sculpture park, are tall cats in sharp suits seemingly pacing in gripped contemplation.

If you look carefully you might spot another Ford sculpture peering through the far right window.

Moving to the Orangery you’ll find a series of textile penguins, made to look as though they are oversized costumes worn by children – Ford describes these work as sculptures dressed as people who are dressed as animals.
