About this project

In September 2013, I walked the entire length of the River Lea, which starts just outside Luton and eventually joins the River Thames at Limehouse. As I walked, I documented my experience with photographs, drawings and by writing a blog.

The end purpose of my walk was to transform my journey into woven textiles.
This walk was a discovery of forgotten corners and an attempt to find mystery in the terrain of the familiar. The resulting work was exhibited in Three Mills, Bow by the River Lea.
