Soft Engineering, textiles taking shape

About this project

Soft Engineering is a touring exhibition bringing together the work of four inspiring textile designer makers: Alison Ellen, Julie Hedges: split-ply braiding, Ann Richards and Deirdre Wood: weaving. Despite employing different techniques and structures, their approaches interconnect and cross over in intriguing and sometimes surprising ways.
From March - June 2019 the exhibition will be at the newly refurbished Whitchurch Silk Mill in Hampshire
