About this project

I am working with weavers Ann Richards and Deirdre Wood on this exhibition which will open with SIT at the museum in the Park, Stroud, in May 2016, touring to NCCD Lincoln until January 2017. Despite employing different techniques, our approaches to making interconnect. Our work explores themes, such as the ways that a deep understanding of materials and technique can influence the construction of a textile to create 2- and 3-dimensional shapes. Lectures and workshops will support these ideas.
