About this project

I have an ongoing relationship with AJ Wells - a family run business on the Isle of Wight that manufactures signage in vitreous enamel, mostly for London Underground. The bowls and metal panels on this page have been made by me at their factory. I usually choose from their standard London Underground map colours as I like the continuity of that.
The bowls were hand spun at another factory to my specifications.
Vitreous enamel is glass powder fused onto steel at high temperature.
