Angie Parker Handwoven Rugs/Textiles

Rug Weaver & Designer

Bristol, Avon

rugs, weaving, colour

£500 — £2600

Angie Parkers distinctive floor art and textiles are hand-woven using traditional techniques such as Krokbragd and block-weave, which she combines with an instinctive and daring approach to colour. It is the creative process of importing a contemporary element to the time honoured techniques of rug weaving and the responses from the viewer which most excites her.

Using quality rug wool, she meticulously hand-weaves and finishes the rugs herself on her Glimakra floor loom in Bristol.
