"WINDOW 1"

About this project

“WINDOW 1” :  installation in the shape of a self standing screen, 1.67 metre height by 0.85 metre length.
The structure, made of wood bars painted in silver, is divided into two panels connected by hinges.
I have applied to the structure my stainless steel pleated mesh work (technique that I have patterned in 1990) .
The metal mesh works as a filter to the light and it frames the view in a way that I would describe “organic”. The design is unique to each rectangle enclosed in the frames.
