About

Mary Macgregor promotes Shetland’s famous textile heritage. She has created her range of contemporary heritage Fair Isle knitwear out of the oldest traditional patterns and colours but using a luxury 100% superfine merino yarn instead of Shetland wool. This results in tactile, warm and comfortable products.
Also, Macgregor has a small hand-knit range: two styles of hats, lace shawls, and knitting patterns and kits for traditional fisherman’s keps.
Macgregor produces under the name BAKKA.
