About this project

Hand blown cameo glass, made by glassmaker Stephen Gillies and engraved by artist Kate Jones.
A study of the North York Moors landscape, in contemporary art glass.
An asymmetrical bowl form, with a gently distorted rim, which reflects the soft curves within the landscape.
The surfaces are engraved, sand carved and diamond wheel cut, creating a relief pattern on the inside and outside of each bowl form.
