Museum of Conjecture. Mended Bowls.

About this project

Mended Bowls from the Museum of Conjecture

These pieces typically reference fragments of past times and their reconstruction into objects suggestive of lost civilizations. They comment on the search for meaning and context by museums and collectors.

The Mended bowls are the remnants of a much larger collection ‘found’ in the Museum storerooms. They are (seemingly) fragile and are held together with copper stitching or underpinning.
