Three Commissions for Norwich Castle Museum

About this project

Part of a National Lottery refurbishment of the Castle Keep and Museum these commissions celebrate history as a living experience. The tapestry has a heraldic feel with four figures representing Architecture, Culture, Conflict and Landscape. The carpet takes references from the Castle Keep itself, as well as from the artist’s personal collection of artefacts from East Anglia. Etched glass designs of the figures were used on doors through the building.
