Reeds

About this project

‘Reeds’ was a design inspired by Roydon fen, a local wetland nature reserve where I walk frequently.
As with all my tables, ‘Reeds’ was made using the ‘reverse mosaic method’, this produces a very flat surface and enables me to work with very small shards.
My tables are 800mm diameter, standing 700mm tall. They are backed with glassfibre-reinforced concrete, set into powder-coated steel bases, made to my own original design at a local steelworks.
