I work from my studio at 318 Ceramics at the Farnham Pottery. Originally from Durban, South Africa, I have called Surrey home since 2010. I completed a practice-led PhD in 2014 at the University for the Creative Arts.
I explore social issues through my ceramic sculptures and installations. The idea of clay as skin, in both a literal, representational, and a more abstract sense, is my starting point. I return again and again to animal forms and animal-based metaphors.
