About this project

Commissioned by John Lewis/Waitrose for the new store in Horsham, this installation consists of a series of undulating reflective steel panels suspended in the two entrance atria of the building. Inspired by the undulating contours of the North and South Downs, the sculpture echoes the rhythms of this beautiful area of England. Ranging in scale from six to three metres in length, the panels create a dynamic, undulating expanse of light and colour reflecting the internal and external spaces.

From the Waitrose cafe, a fabulous view of the undulating floating forms. Although constructed of stainless steel and aluminium, they appear lighter than air!
