Jerwood Makers Open 2017

About this project

This group exhibition brings together work by five participating artists selected for the sixth edition in the Jerwood Makers Open series.
Laura presents three works-made from vellum-that explore the cellular morphology of lymphoma, personally significant after losing her partner to the disease. This microscopic perspective, familiar in her practice, examines the reconciliation of scientific explanation with the personal experience of serious illness.
