About this project

Ceramic vessel hand carved over 88 hours combined with turned, scorched London Plane wood. The images with pins show the pattern mapping technique that is used to achieve the patterns. The inspiration for this vessels comes from the Francesco da Rimini painting ‘The Vision of the Blessed Saint Clare of Rimini’.
