About this project

I was commissioned by Whitgift School to make 10 vessel’s for their World War 1 exhibition ‘Remembering 1916’, which opened on 12th March 2016 (http://www.remembering1916.co.uk).
They are replicas of the trophy vessel’s that Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen known as the Red Baron had made each time he had a “kill”. The school had these made as the first plane shot down was piloted by one of the school’s boys.
