Dining & bar furniture for The Royal Oak, Swallowcliffe, Wiltshire

About this project

A local pub, closed and in decline, was rescued by villagers who embarked on it’s major restoration.  Fortunately their vision included ‘furnishings of our own time to enhance these ancient surroundings’. Seventy-seven chairs, three benches, seven low stools, eight bar stools, twenty-six tables and two door side panels were ordered, on an exacting budget and tight schedule. An article from Country Life (Jan 2016) described the furniture as "the best I have ever seen in a pub".
