About this project

A year round collection of knitwear inspired by traditional knitwear worn by fishermen. The colours and designs are taken from traditional fishing equipment and clothing.

Colour Fade Scarf

Double bed knit scarf with orange colour fade panels. The scarf is slightly felted to create a super soft and warm texture. Handmade in Sheffield. hand wash only.
Racked Rib Scarf

Mock ribs and a racking technique is used to create a 3d zig zag running along the scarf. The scarf is slightly felted to create a super soft and warm texture. Handmade in Sheffield. hand wash only.
Fisherman's Hat

Simple ribbed hat made using super soft lambswool knit with different colour yarns to create a natural striping through the hat. designed with a double roll to create a thick turn up. Handmade in Sheffield. hand wash only.
Felted Ladder Scarf

This scarf is knit using a ladder technique with 3 ends of lambswool and 2 ends of cotton. It is then felted so that the wool shrinks but the cotton doesn’t. This creates an interesting texture and colour running through the scarf. Handmade in Sheffield. hand wash only.
Contrast Bobble Hat

bobble hat in small neat size with contrast coloured trim. Knit with charcoal and navy yarns to created a slightly mottled colour. made using super soft lambswool. Handmade in Sheffield. hand wash only.
