Pushing materials to extremes and experimentation are fundamental to my work, and I use the kiln as a time machine to scar and erode my pieces. I use exciting and unpredictable techniques to get the results I require multi-firing to 1280 degrees.
So pleased to have won the Pangolin Prize for sculpture at the 164th Royal West of England Academy Autumn Exhibition, Bristol. I will now get my work cast in bronze. So exciting. The exhibition is on until the 27th November, 2016.
