I make jewellery inspired by geometry, repetition and pattern in everyday objects.
I work in silver, using traditional metalworking techniques, sometimes incorporating non-precious materials, such as wood, into my pieces.
My starting point is often a cut and folded paper model. I try to simplify the design as much as possible, so that I’m left with the essence of what I originally found attractive.
In 2011 I won a Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council Award.
