About this project

This body of work is the culmination of my studies at DJCAD. Inspired by my fascination with traditional Scottish folklore and the rocky coastline of Scotland, I based the collection on the tale ‘The Seal Wife’ amongst many other tales of Selkies. Naturally reflecting the forms of the coast within the pieces has been achieved through the use of hand carved bovine bone and precious metal.
