About this project

The forms are inspired by the landscape around me. The textures reflect the rugged beauty of rocks exposed to extremes of wind and rain in the Peak District and coastal areas in the U.K close to where I live. Shadows that dance across the fields that I can see from my studio can be glimpsed through the pierced surfaces. Holding the pieces and following the curves and textures gives you a visual and tactile exploration of the landscapes I try to portray.
