Forty Seasons Scarf collection

About this project

Since Nov. 2010 I have documented the colours I found in plants & birds, and published these alongside a drawing of the subject on my seasonal colour blog, Planet Sam. What began as a reaction against global trend colour forecasting has become an invaluable colour resource for my own work.
These cashmere scarves have been screen-printed in the colours from the Jay, the Swallow, the Great Spotted Woodpecker and Rook. Each scarf has it’s own unique character, pattern and colour balance
