About this project

For this collection I calculate how much material is needed before I begin. I hand forge the material, stretching and moving it to form the shape I need to create the piece of cutlery.

Each piece is then matched up with a handle of holly, specified by the requirement of the piece. I cap the ends in sterling silver, and use tube rivets to hold the two different materials together.
