About this project

Invited to create a body of new works exploring with Sgraffito the plant and animal life that live on and around our native rivers and streams. I took inspiration from one image I saw of a beautiful flowering plant called Water Crow foot which grows on top of slow moving rivers. From this small plant I was inspired to develop new softer earthy slip colours and to explore further the relationship between plants and animals.
