Exotic plants

About this project

With this body of work I wanted to explore the amazing world of exotic plants and flowers, and in particular Orchids. These beautiful flowers lend them selves to my decorative technique and I have been most excited to make this range. I spent time researching different Orchids from around the world and settled on a small selection which I could also use with birds. I have applied different layers of slips to create the vivid colours and then drawn on using Sgraffito the lined details.
