Tropical Birds

About this project

I have for a long time wanted to explore further the use of colours with in the area of many different tropical Birds from around the world. With this new body of work I have taken a lot of time to study the birds and the plants they live on and to try to capture their movements and interactions with each other. I have used many different layers of slips to build up the colours creating a real intensity and crispness to the decoration.
