Heyop Church Series

About this project

‘Heyop Church Series’ explores using words as a starting point to conjure up a mental image and a feeling of something or somewhere you have never seen before.  Through the medium of clay Verity has been translating these images and feelings into reality by creating physical ceramic works. To Verity, the words that evoke the feeling regarding ‘Heyop Church’ are: tall, dark, towering, spire. She has therefore been creating objects with these words in mind.
