Hey Clay! 2018 at Fisherton Mill | Salisbury

Three fun workshops for all the family:

Create your own clay bird: 10:00 to 11:30 - Fully Booked!
Tutor: Yvonne Steer
Come along and have fun creating your own clay bird. Learn how to make a thumb pot and then develop and shape it into a bird. All materials will be provided.
Please bring an old oversized shirt to wear to protect your clothing. Items can be left to air dry or Yvonne is happy to fire them in her kiln after the workshop for a small charge.

Create your own clay candlestick 12:00 to 13:30
Tutor: Yvonne Steer
Using a combination of coiling and modelling, make a unique candlestick based on a simple figure. There will be examples to inspire you – or bring your own ideas.
All materials will be provided. Please bring an old oversized shirt to wear to protect your clothing.
Items can be left to air dry or Yvonne is happy to fire them in her kiln after the workshop for a small charge.

Create your own clay plaque 15:00 to 16:30
Tutor: Yvonne Steer
Make your own plaque, name plate, house number or decorative tile in clay. Using a combination of cutters, stamps and modelling, create a unique piece.
All materials will be provided. Please bring an old oversized shirt to wear to protect your clothing.
Items can be left to air dry or Yvonne is happy to fire them in her kiln after the workshop for a small charge.

Suitable for
All ages welcome! Children will need to be accompanied by an adult.
