Two fantastic family workshops:
Hey Clay! and Get Creative Pottery for Families Taster 11:00-13:00
Do you want to encourage the talents of your little creative genius? What better way to do it than with some messy, squidgy clay?! Come along to our free Pottery for Families taster - have a go on the potter's wheel, and try your hand at making a pinch pot or hand-built sculpture.
You can learn a new fun skill together in our contemporary, purpose-built art facilities, which are sure to ignite the imagination of your child.
This course is for families with children aged 7-13 years old. Each Adult can bring up to two children.

Hey Clay! at Richmond Art School, Exploring the Potter's Wheel for 11-15 Year Olds - 13:30 - 15:30
Come along to try your hand at throwing on the potter’s wheel.
Our fun taster course will let your teenager get nice and messy while trying out a brilliant new skill that's sure to inspire them in their future artistic endeavours. Our experienced tutor Malindi will guide them in how to centre their clay and make a simple pot on the wheel.
Once they have thrown their pot, our lovely techs will fire and glaze their pot ready for collection at a later date. If they have a natural knack for throwing, we have a longer course they might like to try in the summer holidays.
This course is for unaccompanied young people aged 11 – 15, as long as we have written permission from their parent or guardian. We will email you prior to the course starting to obtain this, or you can enrol in person at reception and fill out a consent form.
If your child has additional learning needs, please let us know so we can inform the tutor and they can make any support arrangements. If you would prefer to accompany your child who has additional needs, please also inform us beforehand.
