Hey Clay! at the London Museum of Water and Steam | London

Come along to the London Museum of Water and Steam and explore hand-building techniques in clay with one of the Museum’s resident artists

Learn how to hand build and press mould small delicate vessels in porcelain clay with ceramic sculptor Claire Ireland. Experiment with texture by embossing and printing and range of textures and stamps into the clay surface.

An established ceramicist, Claire produces hand-built, elegant, sculptural forms on different scales. She uses her unique studio location at the London Museum of Water and Steam to inspire her work.
