Steam, Mould & Experiment!
Join Silo Studio and the Crafts Council for a drop-in workshop experimenting with steaming and sculpting colourful three-dimensional objects!
Learn about Silo’s manufacturing process called NSEPS (Not So Expanded Polystyrene) which involves steaming polystyrene beads in fabric moulds. Steaming causes the beads to melt, expand and fuse together, distorting their moulds to create unexpected shapes. You can make your own NSEPS object to take home!
